"I was very pleased with Dr. Engerson. He explained everything to me and what my problem was. He told me what he could do at the present moment for my pain. He then explained to me what he could do if I had any more problems with my knees. He was a very concerned doctor about my problem I was having. If I have any more problems, I will use his service again. He showed a real concern about easing the pain in my knees. He showed that he really cares about his work and helping people like me. Thanks!" -- Pamela D.
“I have been a patient of Dr. Todd Engerson for some years now. He has done surgery on my right knee twice with awesome outcomes. I would just like to say that he is great. If I have a problem and come to see him, he doesn't treat me like I am some kind of number, as some doctors seem to do. He treats me like a human being that is in pain and in need of professional care. I think if more were like him, the world would be a better place. I am still under his care for my knee and wouldn't have any other doctor treat me for this problem. Thank you.” -- Tammy C.
"Justin is 10 years old and his feet turn in. His legs don't hurt, but sometimes he trips over his feet. Dr. Engerson assured us he would be find and explained what was causing it. He has treated everyone in my family and is a wonderful doctor! Dr. Peterson treats me for back problems, and Dr. Parks fixed my foot. Of all the orthopedic doctors I know, these are the BEST on the coast! I also want to say the staff is just as nice as can be." --Brenda M.
"My right knee had been bothering me while dancing. I teach dance and dance professionally, so knee pain can majorly impact my life. I called The Orthopaedic Group, P.C. for an appointment and I was seen that very day. They performed X-rays in the office, I was diagnosed, treated, given a steroid injection to reduce swelling, and was provided a brace all in the same visit. This quick turn around has helped promote healing and allowed me to continue what I love to do. I am so grateful to the staff and Dr. Engerson for their care and professionalism to me! I hope I won't have to see you soon, but if I do, your office will be the first place I call!" -- Morgan T.
"I am an active person and enjoy boating. I started having trouble walking to the mailbox. I went to see Dr Engerson. I am now pain free! I love Dr. Engerson! The little pain I experienced after surgery was nothing like what I had been through before. THANKS DOC!" -- Ron H.
"I've had pain for most of my life and was told something different each time I saw a doctor. My mother referred me to Dr Engerson, which she says is the best doctor she's ever seen. For the first time I have a doctor who has helped me manage my pain for over two years and I will forever be grateful for him. My mom is Peggy Scarcliff and he did her knee replacement surgery and she has had no problem at all. We love you Dr Engerson!" -- Sheila A.
"On August 4, 2012 I met with Dr. Engerson three times prior to having a total knee replacement. At perhaps the second office visit, I asked him directly, "Are you any good?" His reply was very direct and positive when he said simply "Yes, I am good." We scheduled surgery for Wednesday, December 15, 2010. He told me he was going to install a "rotating platform knee," and said it would be the one he would want if he was having this surgery. He also said he would pack something so I would not hurt. I don't remember what this was, only that I never experienced any bad pain. Wednesday after surgery, I don't remember a lot, except sleeping and seeing my wife there watching over me and sleeping a lot. Thursday, Dr. Engerson asked me if I wanted to get up. I was all for that. I was able, with the assistance of a walker, to walk around very well. Friday, I was walking everywhere with the walker. Dr. Engerson asked me if I wanted to go home and I said yes!
After arriving home, I parked the walker at the front door and never touched it again. Saturday morning, I got up, dressed myself, and walked outside to my wife's Dodge Grand Caravan, got in and drove myself down to the "Gas and Save" to get a large soft drink. Sunday, we got up, I drove us to church, and we walked across the street, up the stairs and into the church. All went well. December 24th I was holding Christmas Eve services at my appointed church, 80 miles from home. I went back to work as a Hospice Chaplain on January 3, 2011 about two and half weeks after the surgery. I have been extremely pleased with the surgery and care from Dr. Engerson. As late as yesterday, I have been giving our Dr. Engerson's name to people who need knee surgery. Two of my church members have made appointments with Dr. Engerson, one of whom had a knee replacement and was very well pleased. Probably near the end of next year, I will be calling Dr. Engerson again to take a look at my other knee. If I need surgery, with no reservations and with great confidence, I will ask him to do it." -- Richard H.
I have been a long time member of a medical environment and I am very particular about my health care. At my first appointment with Dr. Engerson, I knew that I had found the right one. I have had wonderful orthopedists in the past and Dr. Engerson had "big shoes to fill". He certainly met my expectations. Also, Lisa gets high marks for the care she provides." -- Margaret P.
