Dr. Baird graduated college from Birmingham-Southern College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (concentration in finance) and minor in chemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in advanced reconstruction, replacement,and revision of the hip and knee at The Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte, N.C.
Dr. Baird sees a variety of orthopaedic problems but has a special interest involving joint replacement, reconstruction & revision of the hip and knee, and is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
His interests outside of work primarily involve outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and running.

"The first time that I was seen at The Orthopaedic Group, P.C., was when I was in the third grade at J.E Turner Elementary. I was playing outside on the playground and fell off of the monkey bars. We had went to the firework display at MGM High School where I again was playing on the playground at the park behind the school with my brother.
