Nick and Lauren first learned about Camp SMILE through Lauren’s cousin Jake. It always seemed like a wonderful thing, but they didn’t truly understand just how special it was until their son, Byrnes, first attended four summers ago. Not only is it beautiful, but every person there is so generous and gives of themselves and their time to ensure that those with special needs can have an amazing time at summer camp.
They are so thankful for Camp SMILE and the joy it has brought not only Byrnes, but their whole family. They are walking to raise funds for camp scholarships so that more people can experience this magical place.

Dr. Rachel is a board-certified pediatric and adult hand and upper extremity surgeon, his practice focuses on the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of hand, wrist, and elbow injuries and conditions.
Dr. Rachel is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. When he’s not seeing patients, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
