Dr. Kevin Richardson has a passion for running, but a foot injury sidelined his training. Seeking answers to get him back on the road, he came to see Dr. Keith Spain for answers.
Dr. Spain diagnosed Richardson with a right metatarsal stress fracture and mapped out a meticulous recovery program. Dr. Spain’s regimen wasn’t merely a prescription; it was a hands-on approach that involved demonstrating each recommended routine, emphasizing proper form to ensure optimal recovery. This approach allowed Richardson to not only understand, but also effectively carry out the prescribed cross-training and strength rehabilitation exercises.
The plan paid off. Dr. Richardson competed in the 2023 London Marathon with a performance that exceeded his expectations.
