Andrew T. Henderson is a native of Mobile and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Auburn University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of South Alabama before completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He recently completed his spine fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he received in-depth exposure to a wide range of spinal disorders and treatment techniques, including minimally invasive, microsurgical, and motion preservation techniques. Dr. Henderson’s goal is to use the least invasive means to restore his patient’s function and relieve their pain.
Dr. Henderson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons member. He sees patients in our Airport, Springhill, and Saraland offices.
In his spare time, Dr. Henderson enjoys golf, college football, fly-fishing, aviation, and spending time with family and friends.
