Dr. Mason graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering-construction and received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Mason completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Mason is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in knee and shoulder surgery with an interest in sports medicine. He is a member of most area hospital staff.
Dr. Mason offers OMNIBotics, a robotic-assisted total knee replacement technology designed to relieve the pain caused by joint degeneration due to osteoarthritis. Dr. Mason utilizes intelligent robotic navigation technology to map patient geometry and plan implant alignment in real-time.
