Born and raised in Alabama, Dr. Baird completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he gained valuable experience in diagnosing and treating injuries and disorders. He then completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction of the hip and knee in Charlotte, NC. He has a special interest in joint replacement surgery when nonsurgical treatment is ineffective.
As a physician, Dr. Baird gets motivation from working with patients of all ages and providing comprehensive care to help them resume the activities they enjoy.
When not at work, he enjoys outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing and running.
