Courtney Weaver, OTR/L, ECHM, is a licensed occupational therapist with The Orthopaedic Group, providing orthopaedic rehabilitation and occupational therapy services along the Gulf Coast.
Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Alabama. She also earned an Executive Certificate in Home Modification (ECHM) from the University of Southern California (USC). As an occupational therapist, Courtney helps patients regain the strength, mobility, coordination, and functional skills needed for everyday life. She develops individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s condition, lifestyle, work responsibilities, and personal recovery goals.
Courtney works closely with The Orthopaedic Group’s physicians and rehabilitation team to provide coordinated care for patients recovering from fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, orthopaedic surgery, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Treatment may focus on improving upper-extremity function, activities of daily living, functional strength, return-to-work activities, and a safe return to hobbies and recreation.
Courtney is committed to helping patients throughout Mobile and the Gulf Coast restore function, maintain independence, and confidently return to the activities that matter most to them.
