Susan Hooper, OTR/L earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from Auburn University in 2019 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of South Alabama in 2021. 

Susan has practiced primarily in outpatient settings, treating patients with orthopedic, neurological, and general medical conditions. She also has experience working with geriatric populations in long-term care and short-term rehabilitation, as well as pediatric clients, managing a high-volume caseload with a variety of diagnoses. Her clinical background includes working alongside certified hand therapists to evaluate and implement treatment plans for upper extremity orthopedic conditions, as well as creating custom orthoses tailored to patients’ unique needs.

In her free time, Susan enjoys wine-tastings, morning walks, traveling with her husband, reading, and cooking. Her broad skill set and commitment to patient-centered care make her a valuable member of The Orthopaedic Group, P.C. team.
